ABOUT OMNIA

Logistics is a business of trust.

When you hand part of your operation to a logistics partner, you're trusting them with more than stock and orders.

You're trusting them with commitments you've made to your customers, visibility of your inventory and a part of your business that needs to work whether you're watching it or not.

We believe that trust has to be earned in the way we work — by doing what we say we'll do, communicating openly and taking responsibility for our part.

You've built something worth protecting

Every order is a promise you've made to your customer.

When you choose a logistics partner, you're choosing someone to help you keep that promise.

That's a responsibility we take seriously.

We'll start by understanding your business, your challenges and whether we're the right fit.

Trust shows up in what you do.

Principles only matter if they affect the way you work. Ours are straightforward. They shape how we make decisions, how we communicate and how we look after the responsibilities our customers place in our hands.

We win when our customers win.

Do what we say we'll do.

If we commit to something, we take responsibility for delivering it. You should be able to rely on us to follow through and communicate clearly along the way.

Put our hand up.

Mistakes can happen in logistics. When they're ours, we own them, communicate openly and focus on putting things right.

Act transparently.

You should understand what's happening with your operation and be able to have a straightforward conversation when something needs attention.

Be invested in the outcome.

We don't see our role as simply completing transactions. The work we do affects your customers and your business, and we take our part in that seriously.

OMNIA wasn't built from a business plan. It grew from solving problems.

Before founding OMNIA in 2017, Jon had already spent more than a decade working across supply chain, in roles spanning operations, sales and management.

That experience began in 2004 and included working on both sides of the relationship — as a supplier of logistics services and as a customer of them — across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Oceania, in organisations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Different roles and different businesses brought different challenges, but the focus remained consistent: understand the customer, solve the problem and make good decisions about what happens next.

OMNIA started because some customers needed better.

The business began in freight forwarding after customers we'd introduced to another forwarder became unhappy with the service they were receiving.

Rather than accept that as someone else's problem, we found a better way to support them.

Warehousing and 3PL came later, initially as an additional service for customers who needed more from us. During COVID, that part of the business accelerated. At one point we were dispatching hundreds of Rapid Antigen Tests each day using little more than disciplined processes and Excel spreadsheets.

The systems have changed considerably since then. The underlying approach hasn't.

We've always believed that businesses shouldn't receive second-rate service simply because they aren't the biggest customer in someone else's warehouse.

Different backgrounds. Complementary perspectives.

Jon and Michelle bring different but complementary experience to OMNIA.

Jon

Jon's background spans more than two decades across supply chain, operations, sales and management, working with businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

He tends to approach problems through the customer, the operation and what needs to happen next.

Michelle

Michelle brings an engineering background and experience across the nuclear industry, manufacturing, research and development and management consulting.

She brings an engineer's eye for process, detail and structured problem-solving.

We don't always approach a problem from the same direction. That's part of the value.

Different perspectives challenge assumptions, uncover different possibilities and lead to better decisions. What we share is a belief in understanding the problem properly, thinking it through and taking responsibility for the outcome.

The right logistics relationship should make your business easier to run.

You shouldn't need to spend your time checking whether orders have gone out, chasing answers or wondering what's happening with your stock.

A good logistics partner should understand what matters to your business, communicate when something needs attention and take responsibility for the part you've entrusted to them.

That's the kind of relationship we want with our customers.

We're probably not the right logistics partner for everyone.

We work best with businesses that value communication, transparency and a genuine working relationship with their logistics provider.

Businesses where the operation matters, expectations are clear and both sides are prepared to work together as things change.

We believe the overall relationship matters, not just the individual transaction. If you're looking for a logistics partner who understands the responsibility they're taking on, that's a conversation worth having.

We want your business to be in a better place next quarter than it is today — and for logistics to have played its part in that.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

What matters is whether customers experience it that way.

Over the past 12 months, Omnia Logistics has been instrumental to our company’s success and growth.

We chose Omnia Logistics because they are a local operator, and it truly feels like they are an extension of our team.

Finding business partners who care as deeply about our business as we do is rare, but Jon, Michelle, and their team have consistently demonstrated that level of dedication.

Highly recommended!

Let's start with a conversation.

You don't need to have everything worked out before you get in touch.

Tell us what's happening in your business, what you need from logistics and anything that isn't working the way you'd like it to.

We'll start there.
